What is Tangenterra?

Tangenterra makes the real world collectible.

We turn real machines, skills, people, and culture into collectible Field Guide Training Cards—built to spark curiosity, share real knowledge, and introduce people to parts of the world they may never have encountered before.

What is Trades of the Earth?

Trades of the Earth is Tangenterra's first collectible card series.

Base Set Series 1 contains 52 cards across four suits:

♠ Machine Cards — The equipment that gets the job done.

♦ Tradesmen Cards — The people behind the work.

♥ Traits of the Trade — Skills, techniques, knowledge, and lessons from the field.

♣ On Any Sunday — The machines, motorsports, and pursuits that happen when the workweek ends.

Beyond the 52-card Base Set are special holo and Supercentric chase cards.

What are Field Guide Training Cards?

Field Guide Training Cards are Tangenterra's take on the traditional trading card.

They're designed to be collected first—but every card is also an opportunity to discover something real.

Machines. Trades. Skills. Terminology. Techniques. People. Culture.

You don't have to know anything about the subject before you pull the card. That's the point.

What's in a Booster Pack?

Each Trades of the Earth — Base Set Series 1 Booster Pack contains 10 randomized cards.

Packs can contain cards from the 52-card Base Set as well as the opportunity to pull special chase cards.

Check the individual product page for the current contents and published pull information before purchasing.

What's in the 5-Pack Field Box?

The Field Box contains 5 Booster Packs for a total of 50 cards.

The cards come packaged in a Tangenterra Field Box designed for storing, displaying, and collecting the series.

Five packs means more pulls and more chances to find holo and Supercentric chase cards. Individual pack odds remain the same unless specifically stated otherwise.

What's in the Premium Collection Box?

The Premium Collection Box is the largest Trades of the Earth collection currently offered.

It includes 12 Booster Packs plus the additional collectibles and accessories listed on the current product page, packaged together in Tangenterra's Premium Collection format.

Because product configurations can evolve between releases, check the product page for the exact contents included with the current edition.

What are holo and Supercentric cards?

The 52 cards make up the Trades of the Earth — Base Set Series 1 collection.

Beyond the Base Set are harder-to-pull chase cards, including special holo and Supercentric cards featuring premium treatments and collectible variations.

These cards are part of the larger Series 1 collecting experience but are separate from completing the 52-card Base Set.

Are specific cards guaranteed in a pack or box?

Not unless the product page specifically says so.

Booster Packs contain randomized cards. Buying more packs gives you more opportunities to pull chase cards, but it does not guarantee a specific card, rarity, or pull.

Any published pull rates describe the applicable product or production run and are not a guarantee of what will appear in an individual pack.

Do Tangenterra cards have monetary value?

Like other collectibles, Tangenterra cards may be bought, sold, or traded by collectors, but we don't guarantee the present or future market value of any card.

Rarity, condition, collector demand, provenance, and other factors can all affect secondary-market value.

We make Tangenterra cards to be discovered, collected, traded, and enjoyed—not as guaranteed financial investments.

Will there be more Tangenterra sets?

That's the plan.

Trades of the Earth is Series 1, but Tangenterra is bigger than a single set. We're building a collectible world around real people, machines, skills, stories, and culture.

ORDERS & SHIPPING

How long does shipping take?

Orders typically ship within 3–5 business days.

Once your order has been handed to the carrier, delivery time will depend on the shipping method and destination.

Tracking information will be provided when available.

Do you ship internationally?

Tangenterra card orders currently ship within the United States.

We're working toward expanding availability. If you're outside the U.S., check back for updates.

How do I track my order?

You'll receive tracking information by email once your order ships.

If you haven't received it, check your spam or junk folder first. If you still can't find it, contact us at support@tangenterra.com.

RETURNS & REFUNDS

What's your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return period for eligible products.

Sealed trading card products may be returned within 30 days of delivery if they remain unopened, unused, undamaged, and in their original condition.

Because Tangenterra Booster Packs and other products contain randomized collectibles, opened packs, opened boxes, and products with broken seals are final sale unless they arrive damaged, defective, incorrect, or are otherwise eligible for a remedy under applicable law.

A particular pull result or failure to receive a specific chase card is not considered a product defect.

What if my order arrives damaged or incorrect?

Contact us at support@tangenterra.com as soon as possible.

Include your order number and photos of the product and packaging when applicable. We'll review the issue and work with you on an appropriate resolution.

Can my company, team, organization, or equipment be featured by Tangenterra?

Potentially.

Tangenterra is built around the real people, machines, skills, stories, and culture that make up the working world. We are interested in working with companies, manufacturers, contractors, tradespeople, race teams, schools, organizations, events, and others with a story worth making collectible.

Collaborations can take different forms depending on the project.

What can a Tangenterra collaboration look like?

Possibilities can include machine cards, operator or employee cards, company-history cards, event exclusives, recruiting and apprenticeship pieces, branded chase cards, memorabilia cards, and limited collaborative releases.

Every project is different, so these are examples rather than fixed packages or guaranteed offerings.

GENERAL

Is Tangenterra just for people already in the trades?

No.

Tangenterra celebrates the people already doing the work, but it's also for collectors, kids, families, enthusiasts, and anyone curious about the world around them.

You don't need to know how to operate a machine, weld a joint, build an engine, or race a motorcycle to start.

Sometimes the difference between “I could never do that” and “I don't know how to do that yet” is simply being shown what's out there.
