These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tangenterra.com and any related websites, online stores, content, products, features, and services operated by Tangenterra (“Tangenterra,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collectively referred to as the “Services.”
Our online store is powered by Shopify, which provides the ecommerce platform that allows us to offer products and services to you.
By visiting our website, creating an account, purchasing a product, or otherwise using the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Please read these Terms carefully. They include important information concerning purchases, randomized collectible products, intellectual property, disclaimers, limitations of liability, and other legal rights and responsibilities.
1. ELIGIBILITY AND ACCOUNTS
You must be at least the age of majority in your state or province of residence to make purchases through the Services, or you must have the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Tangenterra products may appeal to children and families, but purchases through our website must be made by an adult or by a person legally permitted to enter into a binding transaction.
When placing an order or creating an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of your account credentials and for activity conducted through your account.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used fraudulently, unlawfully, or in violation of these Terms.
2. OUR PRODUCTS
Tangenterra produces collectible products inspired by real-world trades, machinery, motorsports, people, skills, culture, and related subjects.
We make reasonable efforts to display and describe our products accurately. However, colors, materials, finishes, print appearance, packaging, and other visual characteristics may vary because of manufacturing processes, screen settings, lighting, photography, and normal production tolerances.
Hand-finished, limited-production, memorabilia, insert, specialty, prototype, or small-batch products may contain minor variations that are part of the production process.
Product descriptions, designs, configurations, quantities, packaging, pricing, availability, and specifications may change at any time before purchase.
The product description displayed at the time an order is placed controls the contents of that purchase.
3. COLLECTIBLE AND RANDOMIZED PRODUCTS
Certain Tangenterra products may contain randomized assortments of trading cards, chase cards, parallel cards, inserts, memorabilia cards, specialty cards, or other collectible items.
Purchasing a randomized product does not guarantee receipt of any particular card, character, subject, rarity, variation, insert, or collectible unless the applicable product page expressly states that a specific item is guaranteed.
Any stated pull rate, insertion rate, rarity, or odds information is intended to describe the applicable production run or product configuration and does not guarantee a particular result for an individual pack, box, case, or customer.
Random outcomes are independent unless we expressly state otherwise.
Buying additional packs or products may provide additional opportunities to receive certain cards but does not necessarily change the odds associated with an individual pack.
Variations in distribution may occur as part of normal packaging and production.
Tangenterra does not guarantee that any collectible will have or retain a particular monetary value, resale value, investment value, grading result, scarcity premium, or secondary-market price.
Collectibles should be purchased because you want the product—not as a guaranteed financial investment.
4. LIMITED EDITIONS, NUMBERED CARDS, AND MEMORABILIA
Certain Tangenterra products may be limited, serialized, individually numbered, hand-finished, or produced in restricted quantities.
When a specific production quantity or serial range is stated, it applies to the product identified in that description.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, numbering does not guarantee chronological production order, packing order, distribution order, or resale value.
Some collectible cards may contain pieces of real-world materials or memorabilia.
When we identify memorabilia or source material, we make reasonable efforts to describe its origin accurately based on the information available to us.
The size, shape, color, location, appearance, and characteristics of memorabilia pieces may vary from card to card.
5. EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL CONTENT
Tangenterra products and content may include information about trades, equipment, machinery, tools, procedures, careers, motorsports, technical subjects, or real-world skills.
This information is intended for general educational, entertainment, and informational purposes.
Tangenterra trading cards, videos, website content, and other materials are not substitutes for professional training, certification, workplace instruction, manufacturer documentation, safety procedures, or qualified supervision.
Do not rely on Tangenterra content as instructions for operating machinery, performing hazardous work, using tools, participating in motorsports, or conducting activities requiring professional training or safety equipment.
Always follow applicable laws, workplace procedures, manufacturer instructions, training requirements, and appropriate safety practices.
6. ORDERS
Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase the products listed in your order.
An order is not considered accepted until we process payment and confirm acceptance.
We reserve the right to decline, cancel, limit, or modify an order where reasonably necessary, including in cases involving:

pricing or inventory errors;

technical problems;

abuse of promotions;

unusually large quantities;

suspected automated purchasing;

unauthorized resale activity;

shipping restrictions; or

other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected, we will refund the applicable amount.
Please review your order carefully before submitting it. Once fulfillment has begun, we may not be able to modify or cancel it.
7. PRICING AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown in the currency displayed on the website and may change without notice.
The price charged will be the price shown at checkout when your order is submitted, subject to correction of obvious errors.
Unless otherwise stated, product prices do not include shipping charges, taxes, duties, customs fees, or other charges imposed by government authorities or carriers.
You agree to provide accurate billing and payment information and represent that you are authorized to use the selected payment method.
We may use third-party payment processors to complete transactions.
8. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
Shipping and delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed unless we expressly state otherwise.
Tangenterra is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, customs, transportation disruptions, incorrect customer information, events outside our reasonable control, or other circumstances after a shipment has entered the carrier network.
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address.
Additional charges resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address may be the customer's responsibility.
If a shipment appears lost, damaged, or misdelivered, contact us at support@tangenterra.com so we can review the situation.
Any claim regarding damaged merchandise should be reported promptly and may require photographs of the product, packaging, shipping container, and shipping label.
9. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND COLLECTIBLE PRODUCTS
Returns, refunds, replacements, and exchanges are governed by our Refund Policy.
Because randomized trading card products can be opened, searched, altered, weighed, sorted, or otherwise compromised after delivery, opened trading card packs, opened boxes, and other opened randomized collectible products are generally final sale unless required otherwise by law.
Items received damaged, defective, incorrect, or materially different from the purchased product should be reported in accordance with our Refund Policy.
A disappointing randomized pull, failure to receive a specific chase card, change in secondary-market value, or grading outcome is not considered a product defect.
If there is any conflict between this section and our published Refund Policy, the Refund Policy will govern.
10. PURCHASE LIMITS AND FAIR ACCESS
We may establish purchase limits for limited releases, special products, collaborations, or other inventory.
Purchase limits may apply per person, household, account, payment method, shipping address, or other reasonable criteria.
We may cancel orders that appear to circumvent published limits through duplicate accounts, alternate names, automated purchasing methods, coordinated purchases, or similar methods.
These measures are intended to improve fair access to limited products.
11. RESALE
Unless a specific product, promotion, wholesale agreement, or partnership states otherwise, ordinary consumer purchases may be resold after purchase.
However, you may not falsely represent yourself as an authorized Tangenterra retailer, distributor, partner, employee, affiliate, or representative.
You may not use Tangenterra trademarks, branding, photographs, or other protected materials in a manner that suggests an official relationship that does not exist.
Commercial distributors, retailers, organizations, or businesses seeking an authorized relationship with Tangenterra should contact us directly.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Services and their contents, including Tangenterra names, trademarks, logos, card designs, illustrations, characters, artwork, photographs, videos, graphics, written content, packaging designs, product concepts, layouts, visual elements, and other original material, are owned by or licensed to Tangenterra and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Purchasing a Tangenterra product transfers ownership of the physical product only.
It does not transfer copyright, trademark rights, reproduction rights, commercial licensing rights, or any other intellectual property rights associated with the artwork, card design, packaging, characters, photographs, written content, or underlying creative work.
You may photograph, display, collect, trade, gift, or resell legitimately purchased physical Tangenterra products.
You may not reproduce, manufacture, counterfeit, commercially exploit, distribute unauthorized copies of, or create products using Tangenterra intellectual property without our written permission.
Nothing in these Terms grants a license to use Tangenterra intellectual property except as expressly stated.
13. THIRD-PARTY NAMES, PRODUCTS, AND SUBJECT MATTER
Tangenterra products may reference real-world industries, machines, equipment, locations, events, organizations, products, or cultural subjects.
Third-party names, trademarks, and other intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless expressly stated, reference to a third party does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, partnership, authorization, or affiliation.
Where Tangenterra enters into an official collaboration, license, sponsorship, or partnership, we may identify that relationship in the applicable product description or promotional material.
14. PARTNERSHIPS AND COLLABORATIONS
Tangenterra may collaborate with companies, tradespeople, manufacturers, teams, organizations, schools, events, creators, or other partners.
Products produced through official collaborations may be subject to additional terms, limitations, licensing arrangements, quantities, distribution rules, or promotional conditions.
Submitting a partnership inquiry, concept, photograph, story, or proposal does not create a partnership, confidentiality obligation, employment relationship, license, or other business relationship unless separately agreed in writing.
15. USER CONTENT, REVIEWS, AND FEEDBACK
If you voluntarily submit reviews, photographs, comments, suggestions, ideas, feedback, or other content to Tangenterra, you represent that you have the right to provide that material.
You grant Tangenterra a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, display, distribute, modify, and publish that submitted content for purposes related to operating, improving, and promoting Tangenterra and its products.
This does not transfer ownership of your original content to Tangenterra.
Do not submit confidential information or proprietary concepts through general feedback channels unless a separate written confidentiality agreement applies.
We may remove content that is unlawful, abusive, fraudulent, infringing, obscene, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate.
16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS
The Services may contain links to or functionality provided by third parties.
We do not control and are not responsible for third-party websites, platforms, tools, services, policies, products, or content.
Your use of third-party services may be subject to separate terms and privacy policies.
17. SHOPIFY
Our online store is powered by Shopify.
Shopify provides ecommerce technology that enables Tangenterra to offer products and Services online, but purchases made through our store are transactions between you and Tangenterra.
Shopify is not responsible for Tangenterra products, fulfillment, product claims, customer service, or other aspects of transactions between Tangenterra and its customers except as separately provided by Shopify.
18. PRIVACY
Personal information collected through the Services is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Because our online store is hosted by Shopify and may use other service providers, certain information may also be processed by Shopify and other providers as necessary to operate the Services, process payments, prevent fraud, provide analytics, fulfill orders, or support other store functions.

19. PROHIBITED USES
You may not use the Services:

20. ERRORS, INACCURACIES, AND OMISSIONS
Occasionally, information on the Services may contain typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions relating to product descriptions, availability, card counts, product contents, pricing, promotions, shipping charges, estimated delivery times, or other information.
We reserve the right to correct errors, update information, or cancel affected orders where appropriate.
If an error materially affects a purchase you have already made, we will take reasonable steps to notify you and provide an appropriate remedy where required.
21. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”
EXCEPT WHERE EXPRESSLY PROVIDED OR REQUIRED BY LAW, TANGENTERRA DISCLAIMS WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES.
WE DO NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE WEBSITE WILL ALWAYS BE AVAILABLE, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR UNINTERRUPTED.
NOTHING IN THESE TERMS EXCLUDES WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.
22. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TANGENTERRA AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AFFILIATES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE SERVICES OR PRODUCTS.
THIS INCLUDES, WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOST PROFITS, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, OR CHANGES IN THE MARKET OR COLLECTIBLE VALUE OF A PRODUCT.
OUR LIABILITY WILL NOT BE LIMITED WHERE SUCH A LIMITATION IS PROHIBITED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
23. INDEMNIFICATION
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tangenterra and its owners, officers, employees, contractors, affiliates, service providers, and licensors from third-party claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:

your unlawful use of the Services;

your violation of another person's rights; or

content you submit through the Services.
24. TERMINATION
We may suspend or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary because of fraud, abuse, unlawful conduct, security concerns, violation of these Terms, or other conduct harmful to Tangenterra, Shopify, customers, or third parties.
Termination does not eliminate obligations or rights that arose before termination.
Provisions concerning intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, indemnification, and other provisions that logically survive termination will remain effective.
25. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the fullest extent permitted by law or severed where necessary.
The remaining provisions will remain in effect.
26. WAIVER AND ENTIRE AGREEMENT
Failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with policies incorporated by reference, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services and supersede prior versions concerning the same subject matter.
27. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and your use of the Services will be governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction in which Tangenterra is legally headquartered, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable consumer-protection laws require otherwise.
Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be handled in a court of competent jurisdiction unless the parties separately agree to another lawful dispute-resolution method.
28. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms periodically to reflect changes to our products, Services, business practices, legal requirements, or operations.
The current version will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
Where legally required, we will provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of those Terms to the extent permitted by law.
